It’s taken a lot longer than anticipated but the spare bathroom remodel is finally drawing to a close. the final tile work is drying, the toilet is back in place, the slink and faucets are all in working order. Yep! It’s a bathroom again! It looks great, too – and it really does (as I feared) make our master bathroom look pretty sad and outdated.
Well, as it happens that’s next on the list! And it has taken on a grander scale than our original plans and now encompasses the bedroom as well as the bathroom. Hints: a wall will be getting moved and closet will be added.
Sometimes in life you just have to embrace the money pit. Pics of the whole process are here:Â http://www.flickr.com/photos/osheas/sets/72157630713359158/

I feel big time for you. Can’t imagine how tough it would be to be doing a remodel for 14 months plus!!
Believe me, I know all about embracing the “money pit.” Can’t wait to see the bathroom!
I know! It’s crazy. But Julio has been amazing. We brought the bathroom in about $1,000 over our $5,000 budget.
