I don’t post very often so I’m a little slow at getting things up on the blog. This “movie” is from the July 4th weekend. Actually from a party called the “MasterBlasters”. Five women (fast women at that) ran the Big Sur marathon as a relay. Now that in itself is no great feat, in fact all of these women have run some pretty fast individual marathons over the years. Now all are over 40 and entered as a women’s masters team. They only made one mistake. They entered the masters category when they should have entered both the open women’s and the masters group as they won both but were only recognized for the masters win.

You may be asking what any of this has to do with never to be seen again or John Wayne. OK here goes; to celebrate the MasterBlasters win (and drink the magnum of wine they won) they had a party. Well at the party one of the women, Bev, brought a pair of high heels for Jack to try on. (It’s a really long story and I may just blog about it sometime, but not now.) Anyhow everyone (well all the women and Jack) tried on the shoes. Needless to say this was a Kodak moment. Since the new digital cameras take great movies I captured 1 minute and 20 seconds of Eileen (my wife) that may never be repeated. Click here to see this movie.
