Once a year, the group I work for when I’m not at my day job participates as an exhibitor at the California Library Association’s annual conference. This year was no different. For the past four days Chuck and I have been slaving away, hostages in an area about the size of our backyard (but without all the dirt). Our giveaways this year were framed photos of “Library Heroes.” I’ll have more to say about the conference over at this other blog. But this is me as a library hero. What you don’t see in the photo is my head cold that plagued me all weekend and which I have now given to Chuck. We think we sound like Bogie and Bacall. To the rest of the world we more closely resemble the typhoid twins.
